My Story
Hi there! I'm Menno, the indie developer behind Chop Chewy. As someone who loves both coding and cooking, I created this app to solve a problem I faced daily: finding recipes that everyone in my household would enjoy.
Chop Chewy started as a personal project in early 2025, born from the frustration of endless discussions about "what's for dinner?" I wanted to create something that would make meal planning fun rather than a chore, and that would help people discover new recipes they might never have tried otherwise.
Working solo on this project has been challenging but incredibly rewarding. Every feature, every line of code, and every design element has been crafted with care and attention to detail. I'm constantly improving the app based on user feedback and adding new features to make your cooking experience better.
